WHO WE ARE


Kinneret Impact Ventures is the first Israeli Agritech and Climatech Specialized VC Fund established by the farming community in collaboration with industry and academia to target emerging Agritech, Foodtech, Watertech, and Climatech startups. We invest in companies that will generate a positive impact on society and our planet. Using our hands-on approach and leveraging Israel's vast expertise and global leadership in those areas we are able to bring to scale solutions to global challenges.

Kinneret Impact Ventures was established by Zemach Regional Industries  / Mishkey Emek Hayarden and  Mishkey Emek Bet Shean with the aim to develop and promote investments and entrepreneurship in the Jordan Valley / Galilee region, and Shean region by investing in innovative ventures in areas of major impact on society and the environment. Zemach Regional Industries is a private company owned by 33 "kibbutzim" - agricultural communities - with a vibrant ecosystem comprising the Kinneret Innovation Centre and the Kinneret Academic college who are leading innovation and entrepreneurship catalysts of the region. Mishkey Emek Bet Shean is owned by 17 agricultural communities and has a vibrant innovation ecosystem led by InnoValley.

Kinneret Impact Venture’s vision is to turn Israel into a global hub and living lab of Agrifood, Water, and Climatech innovation, providing solutions to global challenges and positively affecting the lives of millions. We believe that collaboration is the key to innovation. Kinneret Impact Ventures is based on a strong and meaningful partnership between the farming community, industry, academia, and the local innovation ecosystem reinforced by strategic international alliances.
